WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is an invitation. Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Prayer is a conversation. Exodus 33:11 And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.
Prayer is a cry of the human heart. Psalms 102:1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.
Prayer is asking and receiving. Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Prayer is an expression of adoration. Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever, Amen.
Prayer is a gift from God. John 16: 23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
